About Us
The Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership (KAMP) serves a beautiful area of rural North East Wiltshire intersected by the River Kennet, the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal. Our team of 11 GPs, supported by a team of nurses and midwives and a Transforming Care of Older People Team, provide primary care services to around 17,500 patients. Our staff are based over two sites, Marlborough and Pewsey surgeries and our patients can access services at either location.
KAMP has an association with Old School Surgery in Great Bedwyn, Burbage Surgery and Ramsbury and Wanborough Surgery. Together we form our local Primary Care Network. and fund extra staff to be shared across the four practices. This means that we can provide extra services to our patients such as physiotherapy and support from social prescribers and care co-ordinators.
In 2021, KAMP was awarded the status of GP Training Practice, training qualified doctors to become GPs.
KAMP is part of the Bath, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Care Commissioning Group.
