Home Visits
Home visits are available to those whose medical condition makes it impossible for them to visit the surgery for treatment. Our reception team can provide advice to those who can visit the surgery but do not have any transport. Not having transport or someone to bring you in to the surgery is not a reason for a doctor to visit.
If you feel you need a home visit, or you are a relative or carer calling on behalf of a housebound patient, please call the surgery before 10:30. Please provide as much detail as possible to the receptionist, together with a phone number on which you can be contacted. A clinician will telephone you to discuss your visit request.
Requests made later in the day may be postponed, until the following day. Please remember that many patients can be seen at the Surgery in the time that it takes to make one home visit.
