KAMP are required by the NHS to record the ethnicity of in excess of 85% of our total patient population.
Currently, we are below this percentage and we are asking for patients’ help to improve our database and meet this obligation. Over the next few weeks, we will be sending out texts via a system called MJOG asking patients to let us know their ethnicity from a list of options. Patients can reply with “prefer not to say” if they wish. This information will be added to each patient’s records with the same level of confidentiality afforded to their medical records.
If you receive this text, we would be very grateful if you could respond to help us meet this NHS requirement.
